The countdown has begun...But where shall we go? Can you Help?

• Sleeping Bags - Check
• Camp stove - Check
• Fire wood - Check
• Crazy new puppy - Check

We are slowing packing, but the issue now is really related to itinerary. We are very excited to be travelling with another family from Manhattan Beach for the first few days of our journey. The first stop will be Mammoth Lakes, CA and Yosemite National Park. From there we drive to Lake Tahoe for some white water rafting...but after that we are basically following the wind. Can you help? If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE let us know!!! We could turn this trip in to a Family and Friends real-time road trip. Our goal would be to stay in the Northern Rockies due to the much warmer temps in the South. Ultimately we will need to end up in Colorado by mid-July in order to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa.
